The association

The association Renaissance Château du Pailly was founded in 1998. In collaboration with the State, which owns the building, it directs, develops and promotes the Château du Pailly and its park. Its action is part of an initiative of local cultural development.

 

Members

The association is made up of individuals and legal entities:

  • Honorary members

  • Benefactors

  • Active members

  • Associate members (Tourist Office of the Pays de Langres)

  • Ex-officio members ("Sous-préfet de Langres", chief curator of the Chateau du Pailly "Architecte des Bâtiments de France", and representatives of "Direction Régionale des Affaires Culturelles du Grand Est", of the Departemental Council of Haute-Marne, and the towns of Le Pailly and Chalindrey)

 

Our activities 

The association is searching for any documents or testimonies concerning the history of the castle as well as the life of the inhabitants of the village (photos, post cards, letters…). If you have any of these in your possession, we would be grateful to hear from you by filling out this form.

 

The association organises training and cultural outings for its volunteers (conferences, visits to cultural heritage sites, etc.)
